2024 NOA Reunion

Our 44th reunion was in Asheville, NC on July 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2024. Cheryl Odum Thompson and Laurel Odum Johnston were our hosts. The theme was "Let it be Wild!" Our members toured the Biltmore Mansion and downtown Asheville. During our business meeting, we discussed past and future reunions, the need for more genealogy research and plans for updating our website. Members were asked to bring a cherished Odom artifact and share a family story about it on Friday night. Natalie Tucker held a memorial service for Odom family members who had passed in the last year. On Saturday night, we had a delicious banquet followed by an energetic and successful auction lead by Cheryl, Laurel and Jerry Holt.

We are deeply saddened by the flood damage from Hurricane Helene that occurred in Asheville and the surrounding area just two months after our visit. Helene also did much damage across the state line in Greeneville, Tennessee, the site of our 2022 NOA Reunion. Our hearts go out to all our affected friends.
